![]() What it not good is running this downloads a piece of software and works through for a couple of minutes before deciding "Cannot connect this computer to the network". The client machine can see the server in Windows explorer, it can read and write to and from the shared folders, the server appears in the home group. I am trying to install the connection software on my Win 7 client so that I do not have to log in to the server to run maintenance, backups, etc. ![]() ![]() I have a server running WHS2011 quite happily. Mentioned this in the Proliant N40 thread but is perhaps a little involved for there, and in any case is more relevant to the OS than the machine.
